Overview[]
The Oni are a group of warriors from the Eastern Continent who use bows to fight. These individuals go through intense training from childhood and, while not as powerful as Knights, are not weak either.

The introduction of the Oni
As children, their voiceboxes are slit to make them mute and they are not taught to read or to write in order to ensure they cannot spill the Eastern Continent's secrets. Oni use a certain type of sign language to communicate amongst each other.
Oni do not care for honor and will abandon or kill their comrades should they hinder the mission. They will even use each other as bait.
The Eastern Continent is rather sexist, and due to this, there are no women Oni.
Appearance[]
Oni wear dark cloaks that part in the middle, covering their clothing and ending at their feet. Their throats have a scar where their voicebox is.
Abilities[]
Their bows are made from fragments of Dragon horns and possess mana because of this. This mana gives the bow special abilities, such as the ability to transform its shape, as well as making more durable than the average bow.
Oni specialize in measuring. This is described as different from calculating, since rather than making predictions of what will happen, they are able to count the seconds every single movement will take without error. This ability is used in conjuction with their marksmanship.
Their marksmanship is excellent and they rarely miss their target.
Trivia[]
- The Oni were inadvertently founded by Ram as a way to help a mute kid he met while in the East. He used the kid's muteness as a way to have the Emperor accept the kid's position; saying that the muteness was an asset, not a weakness. He did not account for the cruelty that would follow his proclamation, however. When the child Ram was training showed good results, they slit the voiceboxes of other male children so that they, too, would be mute and brought them to Ram to teach. This was how the practice of making Oni mute began.
- Oni got their name from the type of arrow notch they use in the Eastern Continent.
