Daljan is a senior Order Knight, often taking missions as a commander, with the alias "Navy Blue Turtle". He is considered trustworthy even by the Emperor, and he is the closest Knight to Candentia (and the only one who can handle her). He also appeared in the author's previous series, Epic of Gilgamesh.
Appearance[]
Seemingly in his forties or fifties and always appearing with a bright iron armor and a navy blue cloth, Daljan appearance is consistent overall in all timeskips and series, with his face often being serious. He has dark red hair and usually beard too. He has black eyes and average male size.

Daljan acts as Candentia's mentor and moral compass.
Tink[]
Daljan was Tink's senior commander at the Western Bridge, where Knights from the Central Continent fight Demons from the Western Continent. When Tink questioned the war against the Demons after realizing that they were not meaningfully different from humans, Daljan responded by demoting Tink and sending him to train Apprentice Knights in Nijel. At first, this seemed to be a punishment for disloyalty, but Daljan later admitted to Candentia that he felt Tink's mentorship would lead to a better new generation of Knights.[1]

Carapace
Carapace: A Narin in the form of a small shield, which Daljan wears on his left arm. When the user says "Press", the shield anchors itself in space. When the user says "Release", it stops anchoring itself.[2]
