Candentia is an Order Knight of the Central Continent, with the alias "Pure White Elephant". She is often referred to as the "strongest Knight in existence" and acts as the Emperor's personal guard. She also appeared in the author's previous series, Epic of Gilgamesh.
Appearance[]
Candentia is a woman with pale blonde hair and bright lime eyes. She wears a black and white outfit without the black pants and shirt that are commonly worn underneath clothing in the Central Continent.
Personality[]
Candentia has a short fuse. She used to act on her impulses, resulting in many battles, until Turtle taught her to rein herself in a bit. Candentia still tends to be the first to react to a matter.
Candentia is the youngest known Knight, having received her title at the age of fourteen. Rather than admiration, however, people were wary of her and often compared her to the Demon Knight. When someone tried to set Candentia up by asking whether or not she could defeat Hinsher in battle, Candentia antagonized them by stating Hinsher was dead so they would never know, and proceeded to wipe the floor with everyone that charged at her in rage.
Candentia listens to Daljan, and thanks to him, she has learned to rein in her impressive temper.
Relationships[]
Daljan[]
Daljan was assigned a mission with Candentia to evaluate her. During the mission, Candentia learned that her strength did not make her the best Knight, and called herself the worst Knight as the civilians she was sent to evacuate were to afraid to go with her due to the rumors about her. The civilians trusted Daljan, however.
When the mission concluded, Candentia asked Daljan to be her “head,” and said that together, they would make the greatest Knight. Daljan the “head” and Candentia the “body,” the two of them formed such a fearsome team that the Order began to give them separate assignments just to keep them apart as they were afraid of them turning against the Emperor. That’s why Daljan was sent to the Western Border and Candentia was assigned as the Emperor’s Guard.[1]
Nagyunn[]
Candentia has not interacted much with Nagyunn. She was impressed he could block her punch.
Waron[]
Candentia believes that Waron killed Tink and has sworn to avenge him.
Tink[]
Candentia was fond of Tink. She is also the one who gave him Molar and Fang.
Abilities[]
Candentia is capable of producing an ominous aura so powerful, even regular people without the ability to perceive the strength of others can sense it.
Candentia fights with her bare hands due to the fact she breaks every weapon she tries to use.
Trivia[]
